Senior Project Coordinator-Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene

- Manage Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene projects by assuming full ownership of projects
- Conduct research as necessary in preparing
- Preparing RFP, scopes of work and specifications, budgets, staff and resource allocations, formal proposals and work orders, reports, and invoicing
- Complete, accurate and professional in presentation and appearance
- Provide senior review of reports related to Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene projects, prior to issue
- Develop work plans, perform fieldwork related to assessments/surveys/investigations and provide ongoing progress reporting through client interactions
- Act as a mentor and/or resource in providing training to both employees and clientele in matters relating to Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene
- Identify, develop and manage new clientele
- Advance business development through technical specialization and professional reputation all while supporting the Senior Consultants in achieving management initiatives
- Provide senior level support for Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene related projects
- Promote and advance professional services by employing effective training strategiesManage competing demands while meeting commitments
- The candidate must show an ability to work within a client oriented and fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Hygiene or Engineering, or a College Diploma in Occupational Hygiene, Health and Safety, Construction, Architectural or Environmental Technology
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the area of Hazardous Materials/Occupational Hygiene
- Experience and knowledge of major building systems and building construction
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
- Strategic, operational and technical management skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, problem-solving ability
- Excellent computer skills
- Above average excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet tight timelines
- Valid driver's license and be willing to travel as part of this position.
Compensation
- 60k - 75k Base salary (negotiable based on experience)
