Senior Mobile Software Developer

Responsabilities

• Build and maintain exceptional and well-engineered consumer facing mobile applications
• Maintain development standards across mobile platforms, extend to new platforms
• Create appropriate level of documentation for developers and QA
• Maintain technical ownership of mobile architecture, projects, applications and releases
• Act as liaison to other technical teams and QA
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers

Qualifications

• 5+ years mobile application development on Android (lead developer) and iOS devices
• Experience with Server-Client communication protocols (REST, XML, JSON, Websockets)
• Experience in entire mobile app development life cycle – Strategy/concept, design, develop, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
• Experience building APIs and integrating with 3rd-party API (including social media)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to go the extra mile for a better productLeadership, self-management and multitasking
• Experience with Blackberry 10 and Blackberry legacy will be an asset
• Experience with server side scripting/ MySQL, HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / Query are assets
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes, planning and estimation
• Experience in leadership role in software projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Compensation

• 80k - 100k based on experience
