General Manager Event Management

• Meet with clients and organizers to plan out details and negotiate contracts for the events' services;
• Liaison with clients to create proposals that fit their requirements and keep up to date with budgets;
• Co-ordinate the events timelines and ensure deadlines are within the service delivery agreement;
• Organize logistics services for events including facilities, entertainment, catering, and custom decorations for all kinds of events;
• Maintain financial records such as final billing to clients and suppliers' invoices;
• Provide regular and periodic progress to clients and prepare reports for the management;
• Communicate with the marketing and public relations to promote publicize events, if necessary;
• Propose new ideas to improve event planning and implementation process;
• Conduct site visits and tastings as needed
• Promote the venue through online and direct marketing efforts, delegate as needed


• At least 2 years of experience as an event planner with experience in guest and client relations;
• A university degree or college diploma in business, management, tourism or hospitality administration;
• Familiarity in themed parties, special occasions, and holiday celebrations;
• Certificate in event management program, an asset;
• Profound knowledge of English both written and spoken;
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Diplomatic, strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license required


• 40k – 50k Base salary (negotiable)
